Migrant Leaders Partners with Kingfisher

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Kingfisher Plc, following the company’s continuing support of Migrant Leaders over the last 24 months.

This first formal collaboration with Kingfisher, a Vision Day was delivered after many months of preparation with our Migrant Leaders and Kingfisher colleagues. We took Migrant Leaders mentees through presentations, panels and very interactive Q&A sessions about their career stories, departments and banners. After a tour of the beautiful new Kingfisher Plc offices at Paddington, our Migrant Leaders mentees were divided into 4 groups to prepare and present their thoughts and learnings back to Kingfisher professionals and leadership.

Kingfisher Chief People Office, Kate Seljeflot expressed: “It was fantastic to welcome students from the Migrant Leaders programme to our office last week. We want to become a more inclusive company and employing young people from all walks of life is an important ingredient within this. A number of our Kingfisher colleagues are part of the Migrant Leaders mentoring programme and it's great to be able to empower these young people to navigate their careers and support their development.”
